Yoruba language the native tongue of the Yoruba people, of West Africa with over 22 million speakers. Yoruba civilization remains one of the most technologically and artistically advanced people in West Africa to this time.
Due to Globalization of world, most immigrant Yoruba parents abroad desire that their children should have some cultural identity which gives them self esteem. Because they believe that higher education is the path to influence and advancement in society, Cultural diversity is a driving force of development, not only in respect of economic growth, but also as a means of leading a more fulfilling intellectual, emotional, moral and spiritual life.
“The driving force of any culture is the language. Culture is meaningless without language and a man or woman without culture is lost indeed". Language is not only a tool for communication but it also shapes our though process and perception of the world around. The objective of learning mother tongue should be to promote, cultivate and propagate the cultural heritage. As wisely said
"Preserving Your Heritage Language is the key to preserving your next generation,
giving your child a true sense of identity and a high level of self esteem ."
-- Soji Oyenuga, 2006
Raising a child is not an easy task. And for immigrant parents, raising kids with two cultures is a challenge, but a challenge that can be turned to be fruitful for kids and parents as well. Soji and Titi Oyenuga are successful Yoruba parents living abroad. Like many other Yoruba Diaspora parents they had trouble with their 5 year old kid to get to understand and speak Yoruba.
As per the saying, "Necessity is the mother of all invention", they have come up with a highly innovative interactive software www.yorubaforkidsabroad.com. Which not only acts as a tutorial in helping kids learn, understand and speak Yoruba language but also make them aware of the rich Yoruba culture.
Previously, language learning was considered an intellectual exercise for the well educated and little emphasis was given on communicating with others. In recent years, language learning has moved beyond the rule of grammar of the language to developing communicative competence. Thanks to Gaptel Innovative Solutions Incorporation, for their www.yorubaforkidsabroad.com, an interactive tutorial for kids abroad. The main objective of www.yorubaforkidsabroad.com is to help immigrant kids to understand, speak and read their parents language Yoruba with ease with a speculated time of 27 days without the help of their parents. Kids start to speak Yoruba form the seventh day. This is a fun-filled tutorial which teaches kids Yoruba language and culture through games, quiz and puzzles.

Your software is getting annoying in that it is not proper to leave the pop-up window nonadjustable on your server or the software. There must be a way to disable the pop-up. You never explain this. Why? Is it deliberate, and why? PLEASE WE NEED TO DISABLE THE REMINDER POP-UP PLEASE.
